We specialise in 1/12 scale miniatures for the collector, 14 years and over and also have a range of gifts.

Shop news;To all our customers, many apologies for the erratic opening times at the shop recently.  This has been due to ill health,  but you will be pleased to know the shop will be open again on Friday 4th May.  Again , many apologies for the inconvenience.

More shop news!  Opening hours are changing.  From Thursday 10th May the  shop will be open

Thursdays 10am to 4pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sundays 10am to 4pm. 

 (These hours will be extended later in the year.)  As some of you will already know, the shop is often open on extra days. 

  If the pink sign is outside, we are open!

We take a great deal of care with our handmade items, from design and planning to the making of the item.  Many of our items are exclusive.  We design and make them.  We particularly enjoy 'themed' ranges such as the 'Beach' and 'Fantasy'.  We have a large beach range including handmade swimsuits.  A variety of beach bags and summer handbags are also available and a selection of sandcastles with flags!  These are all exclusive to Poppy's!  Our Fantasy range is constantly expanding and includes a wide range of witches hats.  The hats have been designed with the 'Witches Ball' in mind.  Wands have been added to the range and a variety of crystal balls.  If you like skeletons we do have one available sat in a tool shed reading his newspaper who has affectionatley been nicknamed Albert.  Fantasy food will also be available soon.  We are looking forward to launching this range and will include main courses such as 'Worm Spaghetti', desserts and sweets.  'Alice through the Looking Glass' has inspired a large part of our sweets range.  Sweets such as 'Raspberry and Snowflake Swirls' and 'Raspberry and Snowflake Twists' will be on sale, some presented on porcelain plates and others in pretty little jars. 

We have lots of plans for the year.  Our Sewing and Haberdashery section is steadily expanding with additions such as fabric rolls and work baskets including scissors.  New items to this section will be available from 25th May 2012.

We do supply goods from other suppliers such as Streets Ahead and Wonham aswell as producing our own.  We take great care in choosing goods and hope you enjoy the choices we have made. 

At Poppy's we also have a range of gifts; the gorgeous 'Elliot and Buttons' range. 

We are expanding our range of goods to include "Poppy's Parties' beginning with Baby Shower items.  We are currently working on a range of goods including shaped napkins and invitations.  There will be more news about these soon!
